About Us
Tod Security and Fire was formed as a family business in 1987 by David and Samantha Tod. Today the company is one of the largest Independent Security and Fire installers in south Wales, servicing customers across Wales and the Midlands. Although the company has greatly expanded since 1987, it still maintains the original family firm ethos, always putting customer satisfaction first.

- Our 24hr engineering service is unrivalled with an average ‘Out of Hours’ call out response from first contact to an engineer arriving on site of less than 1½ hrs.
- Our main centre of operations is based in Monmouthshire, being ideally located to service installations across Wales, the West Country and the Midlands.

Our Monitoring is provided by Custodian SMC
- They are the largest independent monitoring station in the UK, servicing over 200,000 burglar, fire and CCTV systems countrywide.
- We have a high-tech computer link to Custodian, allowing our staff and customers access to their database. This enables the viewing of live and historical data for each customer site including Open & Closing times and keyholder details.
